No additional hardware is necessary. Just remove the pannier mounting
bracket / rail , loosen the clamp around the pipe and manhandle it.

I think the bike handled better with the bags off, the mounting brackets
still on, and the pipe in the low position. Go figure.

Hi all,

When I bought my ST I bought it directly with the side panniers, so it came
with the cann (Triumph performance)  in low position.
I now would like to put the can in the high position.
Now the question: after removing the pannier bracket, do I need another
connector to mount the can in the up position or is it possible to do it
with the connector that is mounted on the can for the low position?
I did not receive any parts when my ST was delivered (99).
