Just want to thank all of you who responded to my questions regarding St's
in general and the diffs in '99's/'00's/'01's in particular. Lots of helpful
advice on and off-line.

An earnest search of east coast (US) dealers tracked down a new '99
"still-in-the-crate" (red) and a dealer willing to make a bargain. So I'll
be picking it up this coming wednesday once it's prepped and checked for
recall updates, etc.

Should be fun. A bit different from my Ducs and TZ.  :-)

Anyone know what the stock front spring rate is? I'm guessing a .5 kg. The
demo bikes I rode seemed to need a good bit of stiffening up front - too
much dive under braking.
