I have not, but have had similar protectors by Ventura for the VFR and my
ex-Trophy. Someone else mentioned the 3M film that you cut to shape, I
purchased some of this from Aerostich though the other mentions another
source. I have seen the film in action on a 96 Trophy and it seems to
work and protect well, though I haven't quite figured out the art of
cutting out a paper or cardboard template to transfer to the film
yet. The one tip I've received is to not go all the way to the edges of
the light as they drop away sharply, leaving an edge of the film that
wants to pull away. Perhaps a beveled cut would help?
