[ST] Any sparkies out there?

Well,

I know I keep harping on about the heated grips circuit, but it's still got
me baffled. So I thought I'd present the case so far, and hope that there
are one or two "Sparkies" out there who can fill in the gaps for me. It is
after all Winter, and high time that this subject came out to play again
[we've already had the fastest colour - steady helmets and tyres, your turn
comes next...]

I had a poke about this afternoon, and concluded the circuit diagram in the
following upload. 'Fraid my steam multimeter can't tell me whether there's
any difference in resistance of the forward and back positions of the
fairing switch though... ~:)

Q: How does this circuit give two grip heat levels?

HELP!
