Re: frozen battery

Fully charged batteries will not freeze at any temperature common in the 
lower 48.  I have been in states where parking lots have separate outlets for 
engine block heaters and I never heard of batteries  freezing.  When the 
battery gets weak the electrolyte will freeze.  I  have personally froze 
several and never had any luck reviving them.  Now I use a battery tender.
