In 21 years and several hundred thousand miles of riding bikes, I've
crashed once on the street. From locking up the rear. The bike was nearly
totaled, but fortunately I was perfectly fine. Now, I guess I would rather
be goofy than laying on the ground watching my bike slide down the road.
