Paul, this won't work. The eMap runs off 2.5 volts, the transformer is an
integral part of the male end on the power cord.

Neil, thanks for the part # , makes life easier.

Also, thanks to the other lister that suggested wiring another socket to the
battery.

Hell, with all these useful answers and no one telling me "get $$$ and take
it to the dealer", I might have to sign back up on the list under my name!
