Steve:

I think you will be happier (and will save big bucks) if you first try Race
Tech or Progressive Suspension springs matched to your riding weight in the
forks you have.  It is also really inexpensive to try a different weight
fork oil from stock.  The difference is amazing.  If you then have money
burning a hole in your pocket, try a pair of RaceTech emulators, some teflon
bushings, and synthetic fork oil.

On the rear, you can buy a Ohlin, Penske, or Progressive Suspension rear
shock.  I think you will be very satisfied with the results.
