Hi John, I am a '00 red ST owner from Burney. Two things I want to respond
to you re: your posting. First, I hope you will be around for the Sonomafest
at Sears Point. There should  be a few ST's from around the state there. I
am planning to come down for the entire week. There will be vintage races
the weekend of April 28th and the following weekend will be AMA races. I
understand there will be organized rides most everyday starting at the main
gate to Sears Point.
Second, we have a sub list to this list called "ncsprints" that includes
northern California ST owners. If you like, we will include your name on the
list. There is more activities to tell you, so let me know if you're
interested.
Oh yeah, I can't wait to do some riding in the wine country. I was passing
through the week after Thanksgiving as I have family in Sonoma. I grew up in
Sonoma and spent many weekends riding the back roads of the area. I too was
absent from motorcycles for better than twenty years and the ST is what
brought me back.
