Triumph has them up on it's site, it is a lovely looking bike which as you
say is lighter, more powerful and more modern. Don't worry about what the
old crusties say, they just hate progress. There isn't much chance of an
inline four replacing the triple as the new Daytona also has a new engine.
If you look at the photos closely the differences are quite major. They
wouldn't go to all that expense just to replace it with another one next
year. I have no doubt they are developing a new 4 which will run alongside
the current triples. The new Daytona motor has apparently used many of the
advances used on the TT600. Before everyone jumps in the fact that the TT
has been a sales flop has nothing to do with the engine itself.
