brackets can be so extreme as to cause you bags not to latch properly to
the bike. Examine the brackets on the bike and the rail on the bag.

I asked my dealer if i could source just the lid and was told the only way
it was available was as the whole enchilada....boxes (both halves) and
rails.

I would appreciate part numbers if available so I can replace the lid that
my daughter cracked when she knocked the bike over (yes it was my fault...i
knew it wasn't parked well but nobody was going to touch it...right)
