I can tell you that in the last few weeks it got so hot here (39 Deg Cent
one day) that even whilst traveling at a constant 50-60 M/PH the temp gauge
never dropped below 97 Deg. peaking at 105 Deg! the fan was working almost
constantly. I must add that there is nothing wrong with my bike as Late
night driving gave temp readings not exceeding 87 Deg. I was asking about
oil mainly because of the high heat which thins out the oil and might damage
the engine. I am using 4T but was worried about extra heat protection.
PS. Thanks for all your feedback! I'll stick to 4T
PPS. I changed the oil and filter after that bloody hot day just as a
precaution and it looked *very* thin in the draining bucket (600 miles old!)
