The thing that has impressed me the most with these tyres is the postive
road feel that is transmitted through them to me.

With the stock BridgeRock BT57's there was always a vague feeling to them.
I had attributed this to my relative inexperience (I've been riding less
than 2 years now, and had been riding less than 6 months when I bought my
ST). Last year at the Rallye I found I could "sneak up" on leaning way over
in a corner -- pushing it a bit farther each time. But the OEM tyres always
felt vague and "squirrelly" -- I wasn't sure if they'd hold or if I'd
lowside as they slid out from under me. I didn't dare try and get to the
point of dragging a peg. The tyres might have been up to it, but they
weren't telling me that. I had no confidence in them.

OTOH, with the new Pirelli's there was an immediate and distinct difference.
These tyres felt firmly planted as if glued to the tarmac. They were
telling me that they were stuck down and that I could take the bike over as
far as I wanted. Even upright, they transmitted better road feel, but (and
this is almost contradictory) they also felt more comfortable. I'm eager to
try a REALLY long distance ride with them to verify that. Is the ride on
the Pirelli's more comfortable? I also noted that the Pirelli's fall into
the turn faster but are wonderfully stable while in the turn.

Is it just me? Or can other Pirelli Dragon GTS owners make similar
comments?
