Painting, er buying helmet...

Just a suggestion for you H.  If you're going to go to a shop and try on
their helmets, then if it fits, buy it there.  It is not a very classy thing
to use your local dealer as just a fitting room for your mail order
purchases.  It costs them money to put those helmets out for you to try on,
and they do it in the expectation that you intend to buy.  If too many
people begin taking the approach that you are considering, then pretty soon
the shops will simply adopt the same policy towards helmets as they do with
most motorcycles.  "Ya wanna try it, then buy it first."

If you're replacing an existing helmet with the same model, then sure, do
mailorder, but otherwise....
