I haven't ridden a Daytona, only been passed by them on the race track, so
I understand the horsepower factor. But for those that have, does the
Daytona have the stump pulling torque of the ST? Because I sure wouldn't
want to give that up.

My dream list for improvements?

1. Underseat exhaust and less obtrusive brackets for the saddle bags, so
when you want to go into sport mode, it looks like a sport bike and really
shows off the single sided swingarm.

2. An accurate gas gauge and/or a second trip meter. Might as well throw a
tempature gauge in there too.

3. A fairing that you can direct the heat to you when you need it in the
winter, or away from you in the summer. My '83 Vision has this setup and it
was wonderful. Why no one seems to copy it I don't understand. While
they're redesigning the fairing, they should give us taller folks just a
bit more knee room.
