That's a good question, one which I hope I never have to face. I've
always saved oil and oil filter receipts when I do changes myself in my
vehicles. I could worry about it for my car, as I am SUPPOSED to bring
it in for scheduled service, but I don't want those idiots touching my
car, so I did it myself and wrote it down in the maintenance schedule.
I do like my Triumph dealer quite a bit, but they are almost two hours
away (these is a local one but I won't go to them) so I'll do most
services myself. I anticipate that the bike with go to them every other
service to have them check after me.
I don't really have an answer, but the best you can do is save every bit
of proof that you did it yourself...
