Don,
  Do you have the stock exhaust canister, and has you exhaust been sniffed
by a CO analyzer?  When I had the CF pipe put on and the exhaust sniffed it
really woke the bike up.  Talking to the dealer while getting this work
done, he said most shops over due the CO on new bikes and rob them of power.
Have a dealer check and see where the CO is at.  It should be around 3%.
With the CF canister and stock gearing I have little problem lofting the
front wheel!!
