Im located in Australia.  Where at the moment $379 US equals about $37,000 Australian.  Ok, thats a small exageration, it actually equates to about $700 AU.  ;-)  Which would pretty much confirm what my dealer told me.  

I will inform my insurance assessor of my preference for new panels, however I don't think that will change their stance.  I'll just have to go over the panels with a magnifying glass when the bike is done.  :)  If they are not perfect I'll fight it out with them then.  I've been told the only part that doesn't need to be sprayed is the small right hand side panel.

A main side panel (middle one) is approximately $379.90 (all U.S.
dollars), with an additional $10.60 and $13.23 for the two pads that go
inside.  I'm looking directly at an invoice dated 1/19/2001 from the
repair of my husband's bike here in Houston. The cockpit side panel is
$224.21, and the centre panel is $151.18.  Bellypan is $184.69.  These
prices reflect a recent raise in the cost of them by Triumph.
