That is correct Mike, you will have a hard time making adjustments, the fuel
tank will have to come off for spring adjustments. I made sure that was set
up correctly when I installed the shock. Compression and rebound are easily
available for adjustments. The Ohlins is hard to beat in this area with
their remote adjuster. On the other hand I set mine for 2 up and have had no
real reason to go back and change the adjustment although I ride 2 up almost
exclusively.
