Erik, which ST screen are you referring to?  The standard or the tall
screen?

I'm certain that the tall ST screen gives more coverage than the double
bubble, and in a rain storm or gusty headwinds I can hunker down behind it
for some real protection.  However on a long ride I find it tiring because I
don't get the lift that the stocker gives me.

The rush of the wind from the short, stock screen gives me a lift in more
ways than one!  :-)
