Something else I wanted to add to this.
First I do live in Texas and it gets very hot . I wear Vanson perf jacket
and pants and use a camelback.
The other evening, just after I installed the double bubble ,I wanted to go
for a short ride....about 8 miles.
Hot evening and a short ride.I remember asking Jenna ,although I knew the
answer,"should I wear my pants(vanson) for this short ride? Well of course
she answered yes and I did ....as I would have anyway.Just a point to say
how easy it is to become complacent....after all it was just 8 miles.
Well I went into a corner I have been through 100s of times and the back end
stepped out....so much so that I had to use all of the road to stay
upright..just missing about a 3 inch edge trap on the other side of the road
at the shoulder.
First thought was....well ok @#%&# may not be a thought but second thought
was that I was glad I had on the leathers even though I did not go down.
So...use this as food for thought....even on those "short rides"
Robert
