I have a FirstGear Kilimanjaro coat.  It is 100% waterproof and the proof of
that was about 350 miles worth of driving rain at freeway speeds.  Zero
leaks--as in none!  Pads in the right places including a back protector.
Full of vents that provide lots of air but which shut down well.  Zip in
liner.  Not as snazzy as leather but I find it ideal for year-round riding.
