I have no probems with my rear brake either.  It seems to work as it should.

My only complaint is the life of the rear pads.  At 5000 miles, my rear
brakes were trashed, and the front ones looked new.  It should be the other
way around....

I've since 'lightened up' my usage of the rear brake, so I'll soon see how
if the pads last longer.
