RE: [ST] Rear brake

Why brake at all? If you get the line right and enter the bend, no matter
how sharp, with a neutral throttle and give it the gas as you apex out you
will add 10mph per bend easy. Riding on a road is nothing, absolutely
nothing, like riding on a track. The camber on the road is different, the
bends are usually shallower and it's not very often that you have to pull in
tight to the apex to shut the back door to your opponent. All that heavy
braking will do is upset the balance of the bike and slow you down in the
bend.

Riding a bike fast in the twisities is like painting a panel, it's all
preparation - position, speed and gear. Getting knees down is all about
showing off (which is okay if there is a lady to impress!!!) Why do you
think a BMW K can kick a dopey blade rider's ass when ridden right?

Yea but I want to get to the corner as fast as I possibly can. So, fly into
the corner, brake HARD at the last possible second. throw the bike over and
jump on the throttle and screem out of the turn. It is kinda like dirt
biking and it makes you feel like you're going through a corner with a high
burm.
