Or, maybe he's just more familiar with the performance of rear brakes on
Japanese sport bikes. In my experience, it's entirely too easy to lock
up the rear on most Japanese sport bikes. I can't lock up the rear on my
ST without applying a good amount of front brake, too. I don't complain
about this, though; IMHO I think it's the right amount of braking force.
