Yes, because this story sounded all too much like my incident with the
plastic bucket coming out of a pickup.  And that put me in a cast for
over 6 weeks and resulted in over $3000 in damage to my friends bike
(we'd swapped rides for a few miles).

I'm very happy to hear that you suffered nothing more than a few paint
scratches, easily and cheaply replaced.
