Got taken out by a dog years ago. A lady walking a large Alsatian was 
having problems controlling it so I slowed down just in case. I was 
virtually along side them when a cat shot across the road from nowhere, 
quickly followed by the Alsatian straight into the front wheel, the next I 
knew I was surfing the tarmac into the curb. light damage to the bike 
(Yamaha DT125) but now I cringe if I see animals at the side of the road.
