Really??  The shot I saw looked remarkably like a parallel twin ala Yamaha TRX/TDM, not a V-twin.  I better go have another look.....

Actually, the bike in Tomb Raider is a highly modified Ducati. There is a
British vehicle in the movie though, a Land Rover Defender, also highly
modified. I haven't seen the movie, but the website has an mpeg showing a
behind the scenes look at the vehicles.
