[ST] RE: (ST) New Daytona (And superbike review spoilers)

Superbike in the UK have a sport tourer test in this months issue.

1] VFR
2] ST
3] Futura
4] Ducati ST4s
5] BWM something or other.

They seemed to be testing more on the bikes sporting abilities rather than the
potential for Two up touring with luggage followed by a spirited romp in the
hills.

I'd have to say that I disagree with them.
For pure sporting abilities I'd put both the VFR and Futura ahead of the ST.
For touring with Luggage and pillion the ST is still the pick of the litter.
For solo touring the Futura might just be my number one choice.

They also tested the New daytona agains a blade and Zx9R

1] Fireblade
2] ZX9R
3] Daytona.

The general gist was that the Triumph was fine machine but lacking in every way
when compared with the others.
