Well, I haven't tried it yet, but I think I've found something that will
work well. I ended up buying a Highland Ramp Champ -- the telescoping
yellow polycarbonate arched unit.
As soon as SWMBO returns from her annual pilgrimage to the cottage in
Canada I'll give it a try. I'd prefer to have someone steadying one
side while I'm on the other instead of trying it by myself.
I decided not to spend big $$$ on a ramp at this time. Long-term plans
call for us to have a trailer capable of holding two bikes. I couldn't
manage that at this time and a ramp would only get used rarely. So
there was no sense in buying an expensive ramp.
