[ST] When and Where is the Eastern Rallye?

All,

I'm new to the list and I was wondering if I could get more information on
the Eastern Rallye I've seen listed in a couple of e-mails. When and where
is the Rallye? Are there any links on the Internet concerning this rallye?
Could anyone send me those links?

Two questions, fellow listers.

I am planning on leaving Dallas the week-end before the Rallye (Sat. Aug. 
11) for an extended (all backroads) trip to the Rallye.  I am either taking 
a northern route (Ark-Mo-Kentuck-Tenn) or a southern route, 
(La-Miss-Bama-Ga).  So, the questions:

1)  I am pretty familiar with northern routes, but not so with southern
    routes.  Any suggestions on good roads?  Places to avoid?

2)  Anyone else from Texas or points west making the trip early?
    Care to hook-up along the way?
