David,  I could be wrong but I believe your Bohn has the European "CE" 
approval.  I have the Bohn "Airtex" shirt w/full armor as well as the Bohn 
lycra pants(armored) which I wear under Draggin Jeans.  All the armor in my 
Bohn products are "CE" approved.  Very good quality stuff.
