I got a 2001 TT in February, and it is fine. I rode a demo 2000 before I got
it, because the press said it was un-rideable in town I was concerned, but
the 2000 bike was ok.

The dealer said that when they got their 2000 demo bike it was un-safe to
ride, they talked to Triumph, who said it was ok, however the dealer
adjusted the CO which improved it no end.

Anyway, the 2001 bike is much improved over the 2000, and many say they have
had no problem with them, Triumph keep making new tunes available, the
latest, 10 or 11, seems to fix most problems. Have a look at the TT600 pages
on the Triumphnet site.
