No, I guess I should clarify that all work was
performed under warranty and for free. My dealer sent
a mechanic to my home to install the cable, he
mentioned that both he and the dealer were surprised
that the cable cost $145.00. Now I don't think the
dealer lied to me about the cost of the cable, he
doesn't have anything to gain as I am not paying for
it and he has really been very good to me. In fact he
just called 3 days ago and gave me a free ticket to
this weekends super bike race at Road America. Maybe
he just made a mistake when looking up the price or
maybe the price quoted included labor and travel.
