RE: [ST] Polishing wheels

I had mine done for $95 per wheel.  Find a shop that has done wheels before.
Make sure they mask off the threads, the bearing races and the like.  And
since the wheel MUST be stripped BARE, factor in new bearings (do not go to
the dealer, contact me and I can't give a number for good prices), having
tires dismounted and mounted, bearings pulled out and pressed in and any
other small charges.  If you get lucky like me, factor in having your rotors
bent during reassemble and waiting 2 weeks for new EBC's to show up!!!  The
shop I had mine down at even had an almost chrome color that looked nice.

wheels, and would really like the silver powder coated ones on the 2001 ST.

There are some places that with put a clear coat finish on the
wheels after they are polished. This will keep the oxidization down
or elimiated. From what I have heard on the ZX list, that is the way to
go is you are going to polish Al.
