[ST] Damage and 500mi Servie

Well, came out from a club a couple of weeks ago to find my new (500 miles)
ST on its side.  My belief is someone tried to steal it, but the disc lock
allowed them to roll it about a foot, it dumped, and the mutants trying to
steal it said screw it.  Got the estimate back from the dealer - - $1300
damage.  Scraped up the midfairing, broke a foot peg, scraped up the can,
mirror, etc.  And I'd just raised my deductibles to $500.  Damn.  Hopefully
it won't take too long to get the parts.  I'm thinking of forgoing the disc
lock and getting the alarm.
Whilst it was being looked at, had the 500 mile service done.  So I'm
curious what folks are paying for this.  This cost me $225.  $160 of that
labor.  But $45 for oil?  Hell, I could go buy top of the line Redline Oil
(which is what I run in my 99 Cougar engine and tranny) for less than that.
And $12 for the filter?  Good thing it doesn't go back for a while!
