When I had my RS in for it first service (~800 miles), the shop
(Cal Triumph) put in Motul 300V (don't quote me on that number;
it could have been something else, but it was Motul). I noticed
it called out on the work order and questioned the service
manager. He said it was OK to use and did not affect the
warantee (of course, this is the same service shop with whom
Patti is having trouble, so...). At the 6000, they put in the
Mobil 1 4T.

So, I think there is no warantee problem, as long as the type
and weight of the oil is as specified in the manual. I have not
used Golden Spectro, so I can't say anything specific about its
use in the Sprint, but I know several folks who swear by it for
street bikes. I wouldn't worry about it.
