don't know if you've purchased or are just shopping -- you might
also consider the Hawkeoiler (www.hawkeoiler.com).  unlike the passive
drip from the scottoiler, it uses a small electric pump under rider
control to drip oil on the chain.  they had some teething problems,
but they may be okay now.  last report from eric was that it seems
to work as advertised.  (i don't have one, but i've heard of enough
scottoiler failures and adjustment problems that i've been watching
for alternatives for a while now.)  (another alternative:
