I totally agree, though half my day is spent supporting customers that
could have RTFM before calling. <read the factory manual>
I did a 1500 mile ride Memorial day weekend and found the oiler to be
perfect set to about a drop every 40ish seconds. When I got home it still
had a little oil left !! I also found Marvel Mystery oil works great too!
After playing with the touring setup, well lets just say it would be very
easy to fabricate my own additional reservoir for the oiler. It's pure
hydraulics after all.
I ended up running the vacuum line with the wiring harness to the RMV which
was mounted under the seat by the tail lights. The oil feed tube runs down
the frame rail to the swing arm then to the sprocket.
Have fun,
Have fun with your install.
