[ST] Engine Vibration

When my ST was new it was reluctant to do anything
below 3000rpm, after the first service and full break
it, I began to test it out a little bit. still
reluctant below 3k.... at this point I have around
7k/mi on the bike. all stock w/latest tune.. I still
have the 19 tooth and all, after about 2k/mi i noticed
I could pull easily from 2500rpm.. and now at 7k/mi it
pulls delightfully from about 2000rpm in the first 3
or 4 gears and from 2500/3000 in the top gears.Full
Open throttle will bog a little but I can ease on the
torque and it will start moving really quickly and
without significant vibration... anything below 2k and
I get the vibration described in the posts here. I
have owned twin cyl bikes. and many 4 cyl and a
couple 6 cyl bikes... *GENERALLY* the more cylinders
there are the smoother it is, AND the less charactor
it has. *GENERALLY* Point being any slight vibration I
get while torquing between 2k and 3k rpm feels clearly
like traditional 3 cyl workhorse and not a design flaw
or malfunction. Its smooth sailing between 3k and
redline... Its pretty smooth for having only one more
cyl than a twin :) What a great bike!! The fact
that it does pull so nicely @ 2k rpm makes it a
pleasure to ride easy (as well as insane overspeeding)
so far it just gets smoother as the miles pile on.
