Barry,

There is ALWAYS a fuse. It may be a component, a wire, or your (the worst)
battery; but there is always a fuse. It simply may not be the best
engineered fuse.

I was able to call John Deere and order the plug with the part number I was
given from Josh and Neil. I had assumed that it can be opened, since it's a
plug and you'd have to connect something to it. It may simply have some
wires coming out of it though. I'll let you know tomorrow when I pick up the
part.
