Target fixation, plain and simple.

Very, very weird clouds. I was waiting for the tornado that luckily
never appeared.

I just let him vent and stayed at least 3 meters away.

With assistance from Steven and myself. It must have been an
interesting site for passers-by who saw us taking turns blowing into the
sparkplug holes (and throttle bodies of Cyl 2 and 3 since the intake
valves were open) to facilitate speedy drying.

I can't believe I did that!

3 meters distance... that's the ticket.

Of course, I recalled reading posts on the list about this potential
problem so I _did_ remind him to be careful during re-assembly back in
Limon... but I digress. ;-)

I told them that everything was fine, just don't get within "striking
distance" of the guy. Despite the mechanical difficulty we were having
they still asked if I like my Sprint ST.

And ride he did... I couldn't keep up and I was being chased by a white
Ford truck down this 6 to 9% grade. Sheesh. Score "1" for the local
truck driver and "0" for the flatlander from Kansas.
