Actually, I'm looking for the mesh/armor to wear under my draggin' jeans ;-)!  
For added protection . . . .  I will check out the armor jeans and the 
products Steve suggested. Thanks to you both for responding!

Not that long at all.  I actually got them prior to the first ST Rallye in 
1999, and that was my first trip wtih them.  By the end of it, they were most 
certainly broken in (4.5 days of riding in them--in 90 + degree weather).
