Yeah, "Doh!" what I said when I did that (use to work w/ my R100GS!).  I was 
going to use it as an excuse to repaint the lower lowers silver, to match the 
frame, but apparently (no one in the shop admits to this) the last time I had 
it in for some recall work, they screwed up the same piece and replaced it 
w/o telling me (there was a red paint mark on the engine case and the busted 
piece is whole and pristine).  I was trying to show someone the damage and 
ended up looking like a crazy person.  "No, I swear, I ran off a curb, it was 
right here!"

Sorry, I didn't price new pieces, though, so I'm not much help.  However, if 
you decide to paint the new pieces silver to match the frame, you need to 
post pictures, so I can see if I want to do this.  (If only I was a Photoshop 
wiz, I could simulate it and see....)
