If memory serves, the accessory socket is hooked to a 10 amp fuse.
The outside of the plug is negative, The point of the male end and the
bottom of the female end is positive.

Page 35 of the ST owners manual says the accessory socket is protected by a
10 amp fuse and page 78 says 15 amp. So which one is it? I'd take a look,
but I can't seem to get the lid of the fuse box open.....top tips welcome!
Got a accessory plug from the local BMW dealership- AUD$5 (US$5); is the
outside of the socket (and plug) positive or negative?
Sorry for the dumb questions- this is all new to me.
