I'm assuming that was supposed to read Hwy 299 West. Roseburg, OR? Wave to
my Grandma as you pass Myrtle Creek.

You're going to have a fun day, doesn't sound crazy to me. Although I might
be more tempted to ride 36 west and then take 101 down instead of 5. Then
you can do Avenue of the Giants and a few other twisties on the way instead
of slabbing it on 5.

Then take 299 on the way back.

Either way, be sure to stop in Ferndale and say hello. I may just tag along
for a bit.
