[ST] RS tyre/chain feedback

I promised feedback on the new chain and front tyre once I'd had them
fitted.
They were fitted today. An Avon Azaro II AV35 on the front, and a DID ZVM
chain.
I managed only 40 miles before my blood froze and I headed home, and I'll be
taking it easy for a while yet on the new tyre. First impressions are good
though - it seems to hold a line better than the BT020 it replaced (at 6,500
miles), and feels more neutral on corners (the BT020 tended to run wide). It
cost me 76 pounds (about U$110).
The DID is top spec, which I always go for. Expensive at 109 pounds (about
U$160), but they've always lasted well and proved good value. My manual says
108 links but the shop's said 110 'for the ST/RS', so that's what they
ordered. In the end they took 2 sections out though, so I'm now on 106
links - that's having moved to an 18 tooth front sprocket (from 19), and
with the stock 43 teeth on the back.
It's feeling VERY smooth and beautiful!
Barry
