Hi,
Following some recent correspondence from the WaleSWeST sub-group on petrol
tank capacity, some personal data:
2000/05/03
Warning dist 175 miles
Refuel dist 182 miles
Refuel vol 18.98 lit
Rate 9.6 mile/lit
Warning vol 18.3 lit
Reserve vol 2.8 lit (est.)
Reserve dist 26 miles
2000/05/16
Warning dist 174.5 miles
Refuel dist 179 miles
Refuel vol 18.96 lit
Rate 12.5 mile/lit
Warning vol 18.5 lit
Reserve vol 2.5 lit (est.)
Reserve dist 31 miles
2000/06/22
Warning dist 181 miles
Refuel dist 191 miles
Refuel vol 18.79 lit
Rate 12.5 mile/lit
Warning vol 17.8 lit
Reserve vol 3.2 lit (est.)
Reserve dist 40 miles
IMHO, leaving a fuel stop until the warning light is a bit risky, unless you
know for sure the location and opening of the petrol stations
Regards,
