[ST] Leathers, Zippers, and riding schools

IMHO the most important feature of any riding apparel (after looking
cool, of course.) is that it stays in place as your poor carcass slides
down the asphalt. While it is true that some riding schools will let you
ride in any modern riding gear that looks safe, I would advise anyone
buying new kit to get matching amoured pants and jacket that connect to
one another, whether around the entire circumference or simply in the
back. That groovey back protector won't do much good when it's pulled
up over your head. The same holds true for ski gloves and engineer or
hiking boots. Modern M/C gear is designed to stay on when you don't and
as a former (I Hope) asphalt body surfer I recomend it highly.
As for schools, all are good and more is better. Personally I think
I learned the most from CSS format. My 2c.
