[ST] RE: VIN 2001 ST

Picked up my new ST last week and also found a '1' in the VIN where I was
expecting 'Z'. The salesman assured me this was a 2001 model and as we all
know, salesmen never tell porkies!!! For all I know, he may have had it in
his showroom for 6 months. I'm told there are no changes other than dropping
black for 2001 - is this correct?

Due to the combination of bad weather and a day job which makes totally
unreasonable demands of me (like being there), I been unable to spend any
'quality time' with my new baby. Hopefully I can remedy this at the weekend
and at least break through the 100 mile barrier. Only probs I've noticed so
far: 
a)When starting from cold she needs a 'tad' of throttle and 
b)can't get neutral when standing still.

Really enjoy reading the digest each morning and hope to be able to
contribute more over the next few months.
